"Playing it SAFe: Don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it"" with Rita Santos Emmons, CSM, PSM I, SPC4 The Scaled Agile Framework, when introduced in 2011 sent the Agile Community into series of framework debates. Seven years later, SAFe continues to garner its fair share of supporters and critics. Regardless, SAFe remains the most popular scaling framework used for Agile at scale. Despite this, the question remains, what is it about SAFe that manages to be both appealing to some and displeasing to others. In this session, we will begin by walking through the key elements of the Scaled Agile Framework.
Then we’ll take a look at a case study from a Fortune 200 organization that implemented SAFe. Finally, we’ll discuss some pros, cons, and myths related to the Scaled Agile Framework.
